Can any one tell me what it is like to work at home as a medical transcriptionist?

I am considering getting trained to work at home doing medical transcription. I had some training doing this years ago but it wasn't adequate to get employment. I really enjoy using medical terminology, I like to type, and am computer literate. Can anyone tell me what the earnings are like, what is your typical day like? I'd love to get a response from anyone who can give me some good information.
