I want to work as computer drafter and want to know benefits and disadvantages of the job.?

Right now I am taking a course in AutoCAD. I want to take courses in CATIA, Solidworks, and maybe Pro-E. I want to use the courses to get into aerospace or engineering since I have a degree in math and not engineering.
