F22a1 swap for a f22vtec?

f22 vtec isnt a specific engine. now if you mean if you pull the head off of a f22b1 (or another vtec model) and slap it on your f22a1: no it wont p smog. if you swap the whole engine it will as long as the engine you swap for is of an equal or newer year than the year of your car.
